‘Wear it RED’ days at school & workplaces are a fun and easy way to get involved. Throw in a red morning tea and some resources and maybe even a speaker and you are on your way to increasing awareness in your community!

A very popular event at schools and organisations is the Get Onboard red paper plane competition. It’s fun and creates a level playing field for all participants. The possibilities are endless and all of the resources you may need are right here on our website.

If you have somewhere in your community that you would like to Light it RED for Dyslexia during October then we have all the information you need right here

We have new A3 posters ready for print, that will help raise awareness on the possible signs of Dyslexia. These can be downloaded here

We also have loads of easy to read and easy to print resources that will help raise awareness and answer questions. These can be found here

And if you want a ready made competition for your school, business or region specialist tutor Kathryn Olsen from Alphability has done all the hard work for you and has created a generic competition template that any community can use as a fun activity or as their own competition, with their own prizes.

This includes:
– Competition terms and conditions that they can type into and change
– Workbook
– Special Agent sign without reference to Yass Valley, but can be edited with their own region (Yass Valley is Kathryn’s region)
– List of steps/check list to set up their own activity or competition in a school, tutoring business or region.
